Print Yorkshire is providing an opportunity for all printing company managers and directors to learn from the experts, said the organisation.

In the latest round of Print Yorkshire networking events, printers from across the UK's Yorkshire and Humber region will gather in Leeds, Hull, and Barnsley.

T he Leeds event on May 17 and the Humber event on May 18 will focus on how to make money from waste in light of the tighter restrictions on waste management, according to Print Yorkshire.

The Barnsley event on May 25 will hear Dave Williams, the commercial manager at Digital Print CIC (Centre of Industrial Collaboration), lead the discussion on 'what's hot and what's not' in the industry following the Ipex 2006 exhibition, where the CIC is exhibiting.

He will also outline the work of the newly-formed Digital Print CIC.

The forums are part of a series of networking events organised by Print Yorkshire - which aim to tackle key issues faced by the industry and create new business opportunities for the sector.
