Printing Careers Guide For Students

The I Choose guide to careers in the printing industry has been launched by Business and Education South Yorkshire (UK).
The I Choose guide to careers in the printing industry has been launched by Business and Education South Yorkshire (UK) Richard Lukey of Printyorkshire's Training and Careers Development Advisory Group (TACDAG) and sector manager at Business Link South Yorkshire, said: "Designed for students, the guide will provide careers information and an insight in to what employers are looking for in terms of qualifications, skills and experience
It aims to show young people the wealth of job opportunities available in the printing industry and help address the skills gaps that exist within this sector." He added that 15,000 introductory booklets are being despatched to all secondary schools around South Yorkshire to every pupil aged 14 upwards.
500 binders have also been produced complete with lesson plans for teachers.
