23,000 Students Take Part In PrintIT! Competition

The PrintIT! judging panel has been working its way through 6,000 PrintIT! competition entries.

The PrintIT! judging panel has been working its way through 6,000 PrintIT! competition entries.

Teachers in UK schools were asked to pre-select only the best entries to go forward for judging.

Over 23,000 students from 545 schools have taken part in PrintIT! as part of their GCSE graphic products course.

The judges involved included Steve Wicks, project manager of PrintIT!; Kevin Dewey from the Stationer's Company Educational Charity; Harriet Lamb, executive director of The Fairtrade Foundation; Martyn Elmy, the chairman of PrintIT!, Jerome Monahan of The Times Educational Supplement; Neal Goodman, the creative director of Direct Design and John Brazier the chief executive of Picon.
