School Sees Rise In Students Interested

There has been a five-fold increase in the number of students interested in the GCSE graphic products course at Keswick School after it won the PrintIT! phase two competition in the UK.
With a 100 per cent A or B pass grade for the first group to have completed the Proskills backed PrintIT! programme in year 10 and 40 per cent of the students staying on to continue with design related courses post -16 years-old, PrintIT! believes it is an excellent example of the results that can be achieved with the aid of the printing industry's educational programme Alan Nanson, teacher of graphic products at Keswick School, commented: "The introduction of the PrintIT! initiative has been a significant factor in promoting and attracting students to graphic products as an option subject
