Firm Offers Online Access To Paper Management
P3/Salehurst has launched a re-designed website that provides clients with online access to the company's complimentary paper management service.
Completion of phase one of the website enhancements now provides clients with online access, via secure website portals, to the P3/Salehurst bespoke complementary paper management service.
Customers can now view and download their individual forecasts, orders, stocks, printer recharges and monthly accounting reports in real-time, said the company.
The company commented that during the last 12 months it has invested in personnel and IT, as part of the company's strategy in maintaining valued added services for its clients.
P3/Salehurst of Surrey (UK) specialises in the supply of paper and complementary paper management services to publishers of, catalogues, brochures, magazines and direct mail throughout the UK and Europe.
It operates from Leatherhead as the UK-based publications division of Gould Paper Corporation, one of the largest paper merchant groups in North America.
Managing director of P3/Salehurst, Alan Badcock, said: "Customers appreciate that using our paper management service reduces the workload for their internal production departments.
The real-time access to critical supply data ensures enhanced communication between the client and their dedicated account executive, thus enabling the customer to concentrate on their core business." The re-designed website includes information on products, technical support, paper management and environmental issues.
P3/Salehurst is a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) accredited supplier, ensuring that all papers supplied bearing the FSC logo are sourced from sustainable and well managed forests.
Additional investment in the P3/Salehurst paper management system now provides publishers with the opportunity to acquire the system for installation within their own premises for in-house use.
As a direct result of that development, the company is currently in discussions with major publishers that appreciate the economic benefits of in-house utilisation of the system, added the company.
Badcock explained that automating systems and exchanging information electronically is something that P3/Salehurst is keen to progress further during 2007.
He commented: "We are in the process of developing our systems using the Papinet platform, to enable the smooth and confidential exchange of data electronically with our customers and suppliers and ultimately our printer clients.".
