Software Gives Global Data Access And Security

A P3 Software product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Apr 18, 2007

P3 Software has released its Netplus version for P3Expeditor users.

P3Expeditor Netplus is claimed to offer users instant global access to their data without having to establish expensive data centres, virtual private networks or wide area networks.

According to the company that not only represents cost savings but it also enables organisations with multiple locations and mobile users to share their P3Expeditor data quickly affordably.

Netplus is also said to provide added file security because P3Software utilises a data-centre with redundant hardware built in to every server.

Data is backed up daily, internally and offsite.

In addition, Netplus includes a feature for users to download and archive their data to their computers.

P3 Software's chief executive officer, Caleb Tower, said: "We're excited about the release of this product.

This new capability gives our current customers new options and makes P3Expeditor attractive to a whole new class of customers.

Our standard enterprise system can still run on customer-based servers, which is attractive to many companies.

Now, the addition of a web-based data server option at an affordable price point offers new possibilities to many organisations that in the past found web-based print procurement too expensive." The company's chief technical officer, Jack van Schouwen, added: "Whether a company is a large or small operation, catastrophic data loss should be a concern.

Netplus dramatically reduces the risk of catastrophic data loss by providing convenient and redundant back-up of customer data.".
