Polestar Turn Page On New Advertising Tool
The Polestar Group has developed an advertising tool designed to create immediate impact whilst making considerable financial savings to the client.
The Colchester plant secured the 12-month contract following a three-month trial period.
"Quality is paramount," commented Archant Life south's group publisher, Peter Waters.
"That's what will make advertisers and readers choose us above other magazines, especially as we believe that we are competing with national country and local interest titles.
In every aspect we must be as good as them, which made Polestar the obvious choice for the job," he added.
Archant supplies two different front covers for each monthly 220-page issue, one specifically for the Brighton and Hove region.
The print-run of about 20,000 is split so that the final delivery includes two different versions of the same magazine.
Waters continued: "Price is obviously important to us when finding a supplier but the two separate covers for each issue meant we needed to find a company willing to be flexible, to go the extra mile and turn the print run around quickly.
Polestar successfully met all these criteria which is why we awarded them the year-long contract." Polestar sales executive David Miles added: "We are delighted to have secured this contract from Archant, which has a huge stable of regional magazines and newspapers.
Whilst Polestar won this job on flexibility, price, speed and quality, we have established an excellent working relationship, which was also instrumental in securing the production of Sussex Life.".
