The Polestar Group has chosen leading European logistics developer Gazeley to be its development partner to procure its new gravure printing facility in Europe.

The group has short listed two locations, one in the UK and one in Belgium; a final decision is expected within the next few weeks.

Once the final location has been selected, Polestar's new gravure facility will be completed by the end of this year, with the first equipment - two Cerutti gravure presses - being installed in January and February 2005.

Following a brief from Polestar, Gazeley will be responsible for the delivery of the whole project, from land assembly to handover of the completed building.

Heading up the project for Polestar, Mike Young said: "We have chosen Gazeley as our development partner because of its professionalism and experience in this field.

The company has a proven track record in the delivery of bespoke developments, particularly in situations where guaranteed delivery by a specified date is critical to the customer." Nick Cook of Gazeley added: "We are very excited to be working with Polestar on this prestigious project.

Gazeley is delighted to offer them a 'no surprises' development package, which offers a security in project delivery that is unique in the development industry.

Gazeley has built its reputation as one of Europe's leading developers of industrial and distribution facilities in providing more than 15 million square feet to a variety of multi national and PLC businesses." Through its growing land bank in mainland Europe, Gazeley said it is able to offer Polestar a choice of locations to best suit its business needs.
