In a new five-year agreement that will see the production of over one billion magazines, IPC Media has renewed its contract for the production of its major weekly titles with the Polestar Group.

In a new five-year agreement that will see the production of over one billion magazines, IPC Media has renewed its contract for the production of its major weekly titles with the Polestar Group.

The agreement includes all magazines within the IPC Connect portfolio Woman, Woman's Own, Woman's Weekly, Chat and Now! together with What's On TV, TV Times and the fortnightly Soaplife from the tx stable.

The relationship between Polestar and IPC on some of these titles is an enduring one, with the group printing Woman, Woman's Own and Woman's Weekly since the 1970s.

It has also been entrusted with some of IPC's more recent launches including Now! and has won other work away from competitors.

David Holland of Polestar explained why he believes this relationship continues to succeed.

"What really sets us apart now is the scale of our network and resources available for the production of these titles.

However, it is the experience we have gained, coupled with the support and flexibility we have shown in absorbing a range of schedule and product changes, that exemplifies our relationship with IPC and our commitment to its ongoing success."
