Ole! Hola! Awards Polestar Six Year Deal

Spanish publishing company Hola! has given Polestar a vote of confidence by renewing its contract to publish its three major celebrity magazines.
The Madrid-based company is responsible for publishing Hello! (English), Hola! (Spanish) and Oh La! (French), and Polestar has been awarded the contracts for all three titles.
Polestar prints Hello! magazine in the UK at Polestar Greaves and has signed a three year contract to produce the weekly publication.
"We moved production from Spain to the UK a year ago, when our previous contract expired," explained Polestar's key account director, Donna Peters.
"By producing Hello! magazine entirely in the UK, we can offer the tightest possible schedule whilst still maintaining the high standards of quality, two factors that are obviously critical to the ongoing success of such a prestigious publication." She said Polestar Greaves enjoys an excellent relationship with Hello!.
The company fully understands the customers' requirements as they have produced numerous 'wedding issues' over the last 10 years, which ruled out Spanish production due the even tighter deadlines that those issues demand.
"We are obviously thrilled that HOLA! has again chosen Polestar to produce Hello! Polestar Greaves has the flexibility to print the magazine across up to four different gravure presses each week, depending upon the varying paginations.
From receipt of final data, we can engrave up to four sets of cylinders, print the cover and up to three text sections, then off line stitch up to 700,000 copies in less than 60 hours," Peters continued.
Both its European counterparts, Hola! and Oh La! are printed in Spain, at Polestar Hispanica and Polestar Heliocolor respectively.
In both cases the contracts have been awarded for six years, which, Polestar believes, reflects the excellent working relationship that Polestar has established with the Spanish publisher.
"We have been the chosen printers for Hola! for almost 12 years now and this new six-year contract will ensure we remain their first choice into the next decade," commented Jos? RamĒn Lorenzo, managing director of Polestar Hispanica.
"Our facilities, state-of-the-art equipment and reliable service have helped us secure the new contract.
Perhaps most importantly, however, we understand how vital it is to work to a tight deadline.
Weekly news publications such as Hola! and its French counterpart owe their success to reporting the latest stories.
Our ability to turn around a print run of up to 680,000 magazines on a weekly basis, on time and without errors, enables them to do just that," he added.
