The Polestar Group's print management business, Polestar 4c, has a new managing director to give the business an enhanced commercial and technical focus.

The Polestar Group's print management business, Polestar 4c, has a new managing director to give the business an enhanced commercial and technical focus Matt Spencer, currently business development director of sister company Polestar Applied Solutions, takes over the role with immediate effect

Former managing director James Mollard is leaving to take up a position outside the group.

Spencer moved to Polestar Applied Solutions following the group's acquisition in October 2003 of httprint, where he had been ecommerce sales director.

His previous experience includes 20 years in print management, including logistics and Internet-based solutions.

The company has also appointed John Dimmick as commercial manager, further strengthening the management team.

Currently within the Polestar Group's sales organisation, John Dimmick has held production and procurement roles with Abbey National, Grattan and Next.

Tim Smith, category director of Polestar Applied, said: "We wish James well and thank him for his help in building up this business so successfully and raising awareness of the 4c brand in the marketplace.

We now wish to extend the sales focus of the business to encompass a broader commercial and technical remit and we are delighted Matt and John have accepted these positions, to which they can bring knowledge and expertise in these areas.".
