After a 30-year career with firstly Watmoughs Holdings and then Polestar, key account director Alan Outlaw is leaving the Polestar Group at the end of May 2004.

After a 30-year career with firstly Watmoughs Holdings and then Polestar, key account director Alan Outlaw is leaving the Polestar Group at the end of May 2004.

John Ashfield, group sales and marketing director, said: "I have known Alan for a long time, both as a competitor and a colleague, and have the greatest respect for him.

He is a true professional, with a breadth of knowledge that is second to none.

Everyone at Polestar thanks him for the enormous contribution he has made to the group and we wish him well for the future." Alan Outlaw added: "Starting as an apprentice and after 30 years, I am taking the opportunity to move on.

I have greatly enjoyed my time with the group and being involved in the various stages of its development.

I have been fortunate to work with some great people and forge some great relationships with my clients.".
