In the third annual Top Track 100 supplement on Britain's largest private companies, Polestar has risen four places to 62nd, a position it shares with pub operator Spirit Group.

In the third annual Top Track 100 supplement on Britain's largest private companies, Polestar has risen four places to 62nd, a position it shares with pub operator Spirit Group Published by the Sunday Times in association with professional services firm KPMG and financial institution Credit Suisse, the survey, which ranks Britain's biggest private businesses by sales, reveals an impressive group of companies that together have sales of more than £89 billion and employ 858,000 people

Polestar Group finance director Peter Johnston said: "The rules of entry into this survey ensure that Top Track 100 provides a definitive insight into the powerhouse private businesses in the UK.
