Achieving a further milestone in the construction of its Sheffield plant, the Polestar Group has this week taken possession of the first two press bases.

Installation of the two 3.88 metre-wide Cerutti presses will begin in next month.
A third press is scheduled for installation in May 2005.
Project managing director Mike Young said: "We continue to meet our targets and deadlines on this project and are on course for completion next month.
The next major phase will be the installation of equipment, which is when we will really begin to see the capability and scale of this factory." Polestar took possession of the pre-press area from the contractors at Sheffield last month.
