The Polestar Group has been chosen to produce 'Grazia', the new EMAP weekly glossy magazine.

It will be printed gravure at Polestar Purnell.

EMAP considered both web offset and gravure production for the title, looking at printers in the UK and mainland Europe said Polestar.

Andy Franks, EMAP Group production director, said: "Week in week out, Polestar consistently produces high quality magazines.

This proficiency, together with its ability to manage the schedule and the overall package, made the group the most attractive option.

Its professionalism and willingness to be innovative with this new product also provided the best option for EMAP.

We are delighted with the trials and the look and feel of the product ideally suits the spirit of Grazia." James Povey, marketing director of UK Print, said: "This is the first major win of a weekly consumer magazine title from EMAP for the Polestar Group and we are all absolutely delighted.

It really will re-affirm the gravure process with quality magazine printing." The launch of the magazine is scheduled for this month.
