The Polestar Group has appointed a new account director for its newspaper business, following its recent success in securing and extending contracts with a number of newspaper publishers.

The new Sheffield plant, coupled with recent installations at Leeds and Colchester, has now been closely followed by an investment in people.

In my new role I have every intention of ensuring that our quality and service is second to none." In the last 12 months, Polestar has won new business from a number of leading newspaper publishers, including Independent Newspapers (Ireland) and Trinity Mirror.
Last month, the group extended its contract with Express Newspapers for the production of the Saturday and Sunday Express and the Saturday and Sunday Daily Star supplements as well as two weekly magazines.
