The second Cerutti gravure press has been commissioned at Polestar Sheffield and has produced its first commercial work - the 'Night and Day' supplement.
The second Cerutti gravure press has been commissioned at Polestar Sheffield and has produced its first commercial work - the 'Night and Day' supplement to the Mail on Sunday for Associated Newspapers Stephen Clark, managing director of Polestar Sheffield, said: "The first press is performing beyond our expectations at this stage and using what we have learnt during its start up process, we have every confidence that the second press will also provide the levels of productivity and quality we require on schedule." The third Cerutti press, which is due to be commissioned in July, is already well in to its installation and it will provide Polestar Sheffield with a 1.5 billion A4 pages per week production capacity
