The Polestar Group continues to roll out its Print Dynamics initiative to customers, with a group from My Travel undertaking the gravure module at Polestar Sheffield.

Representatives from the travel company's studio and production departments were joined by colleagues from procurement for a day's training, which included completing the module as well as a tour of the plant.

The same group had earlier visited Polestar Chantry in Wakefield.

Jo Gregson, My Travel's procurement and logistics manager, said: "I found the presentation very interesting and one which kept my attention throughout.

Although I had knowledge of the gravure process already, I found the content very useful.

It will prove invaluable for my team, who now have a greater awareness of the processes involved and an understanding of what they are able to buy." Philip Adlem, the sales and commercial director of Polestar Sheffield, added: "We seek to interact with customers on a number of levels, beyond ink on paper.

This type of initiative is a further means of assisting in this process." Polestar currently prints four editions of My Travel's Summer Sun brochure at Polestar Purnell.

The work is due to be transferred to Polestar Sheffield this month.
