The Polestar Group is recruiting for a second undergraduate scheme for those looking for a career in customer service.

Starting next month, six successful applicants will study for an Honours Degree whilst working at one of the Polestar sites in Sheffield, Leeds, Wakefield, Scarborough, Milton Keynes or Exeter (UK).

The five-year course will involve both distance learning and tutorial based studies, in conjunction with the University of Leeds.

Applicants should be aged 18 - 20 years old and must have two or three 'A' Levels, or equivalent qualifications and need to apply via the group's recruitment partner, Holbrook Associates.

Full details are available on the Polestar website.

Carol Beanland, Leeds University's Impress programme director said: "This is a fantastic opportunity to gain work based skills and experience alongside a nationally recognised qualification.

We are delighted with the success of the first undergraduate scheme and are looking to replicate it again this year." Polestar's first undergraduate scheme was launched 12 months ago, with six undergraduates recruited.

They will shortly complete their first academic year of Polestar's own training course alongside Leeds' Printing, Packaging and Graphics degree.

That has involved on-site induction in to all aspects of print processes and production, covering major areas of the business from press, bindery, and production planning to customer service, human resources and accounts.
