'How To Be Better Off', a publishing joint venture between BBC Magazines and FT Business, has been printed by Polestar.

Launched as a one-off product last week, Polestar Chantry produced the 128-page magazine, with two additional four-page inserts stitched in.

Alastair Clarke, key account director at Polestar, said: "BBC Magazines and FT Business are both existing customers of Polestar, albeit with very different products.

It was therefore interesting to be involved in a joint project between them and we were delighted to be chosen as the printer for this title." Polestar currently produces over 20 monthly titles for BBC Magazines at its web offset plants in Wakefield and Colchester.

Through its production of Radio Times, which is printed weekly at Polestar Petty in Leeds, the relationship between Polestar and BBC Magazines spans over 75 years.

For FT Business, Polestar Colchester prints seven of its titles, including Financial Adviser.

It has worked with the publisher since 1988.
