Polestar Turn Page On New Advertising Tool
The Polestar Group has developed an advertising tool designed to create immediate impact whilst making considerable financial savings to the client.
John Holland, SHE Systems Co-ordinator at Polestar Sheffield, said: "Our health and safety team and in particular Kevin and Raymond, bring a wealth of information and training expertise to our in-house courses, and we are extremely proud of this achievement.
The judges were very impressed by our trained team and our response action plan and we were awarded the highest score of the day.
It demonstrates the commitment to health and safety of both individuals and management through continuous training.
By benchmarking ourselves through competitions against other organisations, we are able to improve the levels of safety around the plant.
We wish our team the very best of luck in the finals." The competition has been running for over 100 years and has previously be won by teams from the Yorkshire police, St John's Ambulance and the mining community of Yorkshire.
Polestar Sheffield has also been nominated for two other awards, this time in association with its development partner Gazeley.
The plant has been nominated in the 'Best Bespoke Industrial Development' and 'Industrial Deal of the Year' awards in the Property Week IAS/OAS awards taking place next week.
