Representing Polestar Sheffield, customer services director David Yendole will give an overview of the company's polybagging operation, which saw the first installation in the UK of four large format CMC jetwrap systems.
They complement the four Ferag Rollstream polybagging lines and together, are capable of operating at claimed speeds of up to 30,000 packs per hour.
Other speakers will include Gerry Davis, head of group logistics at Associated Newspapers, Tony Grabham, managing director of The Northcliffe Press in Plymouth and Marcus Evans, managing director of WRH Marketing UK.
WONA organises several seminars and site visits a year, working in association with the Newspaper Society's technical forum.
The society represents 1,300 regional and local, daily and weekly newspaper titles.
