The Polestar Group has completed its consultations with employee representatives about its intention to reduce its head office functions and sales operations.
Although the majority of redundancies are going ahead, a review will be undertaken to see if some services, which are currently outsourced, could be brought back in-house.
Catherine Hearn, Polestar's group human resources director, said: "There is a mutual understanding that these redundancies cannot be avoided.
Whilst we will carry out a review of some services provided to the group, it is unlikely that this will substantially offset the number of jobs to be lost." The Polestar Group announced the changes and its intention to close its Milton Keynes head office earlier this month but confirmed the retention of a smaller office for the remaining staff in the Milton Keynes area.
