The Polestar Group is to print the new pre-school title from BBC Magazines, 'Me Too!', which is aimed at 3-6 year olds.

The first issue of the magazine was printed at Polestar Colchester last week.

The latest contract for Polestar reflects the strengthening relationship between Polestar Colchester and BBC Magazines, said the company.

In April, the publisher chose the company to produce three new titles within its children's and pre-teen stables' CBeebies Weekly, Dr Who Adventures and Amy.

At the same time, on completion of its review of print arrangements covering 58 titles, BBC Magazines and its subsidiary company, Bristol Magazines, placed a further nine titles with the Polestar Group, a number of which are now produced at the Essex-based plant.

It has recently added the bi-monthly 'Easy Cook' magazine to its portfolio, following the demise of NJP.

Polestar's key account director, Alastair Clarke, said: "Polestar Colchester's experience in producing a range of magazines, encompassing a variety of paginations, frequencies and schedules, is second-to-none.

We are delighted that BBC Magazines continues to reward our high quality and service with its new magazines and we look forward to working on 'MeToo!' with the BBC." David Halford, procurement and deputy production director of BBC Magazines, added: "Polestar Colchester has the right kit for the job, has a proven track record of quality printing and delivers great service from a very attentive team, both in the production office and on the shop floor.

We're very pleased to be adding another magazine to Colchester's portfolio of BBC titles.".
