The Polestar Group has added a further two titles to the portfolio it produces for Independent News and Media Limited.

From early February it will be printing Saturday Magazine and Sunday Review, both tabloid supplements that accompany the weekend newspapers.

The magazines will be printed at Polestar Petty, using improved newsprint.

Polestar account director, David Gray, said: "We have been working with Independent Newspapers since 1999 and the success of this relationship has undoubtedly contributed to winning these flagship titles.

We are delighted with this success, which reflects Polestar's ever-increasing share of the newspaper market." Darren Nash, head of production at The Independent, commented: "We are delighted to be extending our range of titles to be printed by Polestar.

The company has demonstrated over many years that it can deliver the quality that The Independent and Independent on Sunday demands." In March 2004, Polestar was awarded the contract for the production of Life magazine.

Published by Independent Newspapers (Ireland) and printed at Polestar Greaves, Life accompanies the Sunday Independent - Ireland's largest selling newspaper.

Polestar Petty also currently produces The Information, a weekly title from the same publisher.
