Polestar Wheatons has won a new three-year contract from Glass's Information Services, publishers of the industry standard motoring guides for vehicle values in the UK.

The company will print five monthly guides, which are distributed to those working within the automotive industry.

Polestar Wheatons managing director, Bob Brown, said: "We are delighted to win this contract, following what was a highly competitive tendering process and a comprehensive review of our business.

Our experience in producing this type of material - industrial catalogues and business-to-business information - is complemented by the investment we have made in recent years, which will enable us to enhance the product as our relationship with the publisher develops." The contract covers four books per month, comprising 35,000 copies and a total of 3,000 pages.

Best known for the Glass's Guide to Car Values, which remains the industry's leading vehicle valuation guide 70 years after its first publication.

Glass's is now part of the Eurotaxglass's Group, whose range of data now stretches beyond the original used car valuations.

Within the valuation range alone, Eurotaxglass's collates and analyses data relating to commercial vehicles, older cars, motorcycles and caravans, making it available to customers in printed and PC formats.

Outside the valuation arena, Eurotaxglass's provides the trade with technical and mechanical data, estimating software for bodyshops, business management systems, residual forecasting tools for the fleet industry, and bespoke market analysis reports for all sectors of the automotive market.
