Especially eye-catching is the newly-available text and cover Classic Malts - a range of cover boards with a tactile finish in four natural shades said to be inspired by malt whiskies, one of which - Islay - is claimed to be made using real mash from a local distillery.

Classic Smooth - woven papers for exceptionally smooth letterheads, a rib finish in the Classic Detail range and Classic Clear translucents in both a plain and a rib finish, which comes in seven colours.

"We are delighted that Curtis Fine Papers has appointed us as stockists for its well-established and respected Classic business stationery range, which in turn confirms our commitment to niche UK manufactures," said Abi Doyle, group marketing communications manager for Premier Paper.

"We are also offering our customers the innovative range of Classic text and cover papers, including Classic Malts and Classic Flannel and Felt," she added.

Premier Paper is stocking for guaranteed next-day delivery nationwide a range that includes Classic Superwove, a premium quality, cotton-containing stationery range with a smooth finish in two shades - new ultra ice white and new natural ivory.

It has a cut to register shadow watermark, with an un-watermarked option and matching DL envelopes.

The paper is said to be suitable for all major printing processes including digital and comes in 100gsm, 120gsm and 300gsm weights.

Classic Wove is a smooth finish, cotton-containing stationery range in five shades - new ultra ice white, radiant white, white, new natural ivory and cream.

It features a cut to register line watermark, and a choice of matching envelopes - DL, DL window, C5 and C4.

It comes with mono laser and mono and colour inkjet guarantees.

Classic Rib is said to be ideal for both stationery and text and cover applications.

It comes in seven shades with matching DL envelopes and C5 and C4 in radiant white.

Stocked weights are 100gsm and 220gsm with 90gsm and 300gsm available to order.

It comes with mono and colour inkjet, mono laser and digital print guarantees.

Classic Laid is a cotton-containing stationery, text and cover paper in a traditional laid finish and features a cut to register line watermark.

Stocked in 100gsm and 300gsm, according to sheet size and colour, it can also be ordered in 220gsm.

Nine shades are available with matching DL envelopes in - DL window, C5 and C4 in selected shades.

Classic Plain translucent is a high quality white transparent sheet in 90gsm and 112gsm, suitable for litho printing.

Classic Rib translucent has a parchment rib effect, available in 90gsm weight, that co-ordinates with Classic Rib paper for different creative applications.

It is stocked in white and to order in six contemporary shades, all with matching DL envelopes.

Classic Flannel is a text and cover range with a flocked effect and cotton content.

It comes in 10 colours in text weights of 100gsm, 150gsm and 200gsm and four deep shades in cover weights of 220gsm and 320gsm.

All colours are claimed to be suitable for litho printing, with the sparkling white shade also approved for digital printing.

Matching DL envelopes are available for the lighter shades.

Classic Felt has what is said to be a genuine felt mark and comes in text and cover weights of 120gsm and 270gsm with seven shades.

It is suitable for litho printing.

A new swatch with samples of the three stationery grades and details on all Curtis Classic products is available from branches of Premier Paper nationwide.
