As Prontaprint embarks on the roll out of a new brand positioning to centres across the UK, Paul Stairmand has been appointed brand project manager.

The new positioning has been introduced to enhance Prontaprint's business image and appeal within the corporate print sector as well as to differentiate the business in a highly competitive market, said the company.

Stairmand will be responsible for the implementation of the new brand positioning, which is set to roll-out in phases across the UK and Ireland and includes auditing, a learning and development programme, marketing support and signage installation.

Following that, he will work with franchisees to maintain the new standards.

The 33-year-old is no stranger to Prontaprint, having formerly worked within the company's marketing team.

He also had previous positions at Plimsoll Publishing as UK customer relations manager and marketing executive at Jungle.com.

Prontaprint said Stairmand has skills in project management, developed through his MBA in marketing, and he is keen to take on the Prontaprint challenge.

He commented: "This is a pivotal time for Prontaprint and I'm proud to be playing a leading role in the implementation of the new brand positioning.

A lot of hard work has gone on behind the scenes, which is finally coming to fruition and I'm looking forward to helping achieve and maintain new standards throughout centres across the UK and Ireland." Keith Davidson, Prontaprint's Head of Marketing added: "Almost two years of research and GBP3million has been invested in to the new repositioning, which demonstrates the importance of appointing a brand project manager to oversee the detail and work closely with franchisees.

We're pleased to welcome Paul back to the team.

His expertise will serve to ensure the seamless roll-out of the project.".
