Kall Kwik and Prontaprint embrace franchises

A Prontaprint product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Sep 12, 2008

Kall Kwik and Prontaprint have released figures revealing that more than GBP3.5m of investment will be made in franchises this year as a way of taking control in an uncertain economic climate.

Contracts for 25 re-sales or new franchises across the combined networks have already been exchanged and a further five deals are expected to complete by the end of the year.

Increasingly, both brands are attracting enquiries from highly motivated prospective franchisees with significant investment funding, seeking the earnings capacity of high-turnover centres such as million pound-plus Prontaprint Leicester and Kall Kwik Truro.

Kall Kwik and Prontaprint have also extended their reach across the UK by rebranding independent design and print businesses and introducing new owners who are keen to benefit from the umbrella support and strong brand presence of the two print-on-demand networks.

This 'business matchmaking' service has delivered new Kall Kwik franchises in Cardiff and Oxford, with further agreements to be negotiated into 2009.
