In its efforts to reward customers for choosing QuarkXPress 6.5, Quark has announced promotional pricing for full products and upgrades.

The promotional pricing includes one low upgrade price from any previous version of QuarkXPress.
The suggested retail prices for the promotional period are GBP 199 (+VAT) for upgrades and GBP 679 (+VAT) for full product.
The promotional pricing is available until June 30.
Released last November and available as a free upgrade to users of QuarkXPress 6, QuarkXPress 6.5 is claimed to offer increased product stability and reliability.
Added functions are said to ease image manipulation, enhance variable data printing with QuarkXClusive and provide support for importing native Photoshop files.
The company added that QuarkXPress 6.5 has won a number of awards, including the Macworld Eddy for most improved page layout software, a Macworld UK four-star rating and a PC Magazine Germany Top-Produkt award.
Instead of having different upgrade pricing that is based on the software version a customer is upgrading, Quark is offering upgrades to QuarkXPress 6.5 for the same low upgrade price of GBP 199 - regardless of whether a customer is upgrading from QuarkXPress 3, 4, or 5.
The promotional pricing plan could save some organisations more than GBP 200 for every upgraded license, added Quark.
For those businesses that are looking to make the switch to QuarkXPress 6.5 or add new licenses, the new promotional full product pricing means purchasing licenses of QuarkXPress has never been more cost effective, believes the company.
The suggested retail price for the full product version of QuarkXPress 6.5 during the promotion is GBP 679 (+VAT), a saving of GBP 400 on the list price of QuarkXPress.
The promotional pricing is available through Quark resellers across Europe and the Americas although pricing may vary between resellers, added Quark.
