The Filter for Spotlight XTensions software is a feature of Mac OS X version 10.4 that enables fast and accurate searches for files, folders, and documents on a computer, said Quark.

QuarkXPress Filter for Spotlight XTensions software enhances the capabilities of the Spotlight feature.

With it, users can search the contents of QuarkXPress documents, such as text, font names, style sheets, and layouts on a computer.

For users with versions of QuarkXPress earlier than QuarkXPress 6, users can conduct text searches, added the company.

With Output Enhancements (user mode) XTensions software, users can use the XTensions module to create and save multiple custom styles or presets for printing and output of QuarkXPress layouts - either individually or in a batch - to PDF, EPS, and Postscript files, said Quark.

It works with QuarkXPress and QuarkXPress Passport, or with QuarkXPress or QuarkXPress Passport running in a Quark Publishing System (QPS) classic environment.

Both the Output Enhancements (User-Mode) and the QuarkXPress Filter for Spotlight XTensions modules are now available to users of QuarkXPress 6 at no charge.
