Due to what is described as popular demand Quark has added an extra date to its interactions '07 road show in London.
There will now be the opportunity to attend additional hands-on training classes on QuarkXPress 7 and Quark Interactive Designer in London (UK) on May 17 Because of the large volume of registrations for sessions on May 16, an extra date was added to ensure that everyone has a chance to attend, said Quark

Unicode And Open Type Support For QuarkXPress 7
Quark Inc will showcase the Unicode and Open Type support that will be available in QuarkXPress 7 at Typo Technica.
Participants will work with a range of new layout and design features in QuarkXPress 7 and then build on those skills using Quark Interactive Designer to add motion, sound, and interactivity to their designs, which can then be produced as Macromedia Flash (SWF) files.
Gavin Drake, Quark's European marketing director, said: "We are pleased with the extremely positive response to this event and have added these extra sessions to give as many people as possible the opportunity to try QuarkXPress 7 and Quark Interactive Designer for themselves." He added: "By using professional trainers in a guided hands-on training environment, attendees get to discover the key new features in these two award-winning products.
They also learn just how easily they can extend their existing print design skills to web and interactive design without having to learn complex new tools." Quark added that the training events are designed for customers using previous versions of QuarkXPress who have not made the move to QuarkXPress 7.
The training is also suitable for anyone who may have used QuarkXPress in the past and wants to experience the latest in page layout and design for multi-channel publishing.
In addition, all attendees will receive the Print Manager's Handbook, a reference book for print and creative professionals, which is normally priced at GBP34.95, completely free of charge.
