Quark Gears Up Sales In Nordic and Benelux Regions

Christian Leander in being appointed as Quark's regional manager for the Nordic and Benelux regions has added to the company's continued strengthening of its northern Europe team.
Leander will manage and develop sales of Quark's enterprise products in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg.
Quark said that Leander has knowledge of the Scandinavian IT-market and brings 15 years experience in the software and publishing industry in sales, product management and marketing roles.
For the past two years he served as country manager at Microstrategy, a US BI vendor, where he was responsible for the running the Danish operations.
Before that Leander was district sales manager at Arbortext, an XML publishing vendor, responsible for growing the enterprise XML publishing market in Scandinavia and Benelux.
Leander has a BA in sales and marketing and has studied at business schools in Denmark, including Copenhagen Business School and Niels Brock.
