Q I Press Controls has again been included in the Deloitte and Touche Technology Fast 50 ranking list for the 50 fastest growing technology concerns in the Netherlands.

Q I Press Controls has again been included in the Deloitte and Touche Technology Fast 50 ranking list for the 50 fastest growing technology concerns in the Netherlands.

The company has attained the 18th position on the list, with a growth in turnover of 595.01 per cent over the past five years.

Against the economic trends, which are also clearly noticeable in the graphics industry, Q I Press Controls has achieved continuous grown since its foundation in 1996.

With offices in Germany, North America, India, China and Australia and a worldwide network of agents, Q I Press Controls said it is becoming the worldwide market leader in register control equipment.

Menno Jansen, co-owner and co-founder of the company, said: "We have achieved a good market position with the development of the IRS register system, with which we, as newcomers, immediately became trendsetters and it took our competitors several years to catch up.

The innovative IDS that was launched last year is the first colour control system that guarantees a constant quality from proof copy to end product, without register marks, regardless of press, location and other variables.

"The system has been available worldwide since this summer and is seemingly much in demand, precisely because it has been designed from the entirely new viewpoint that IDS measures CIELab values in the net image and compares them with the digital pre-press original.

It is exactly this kind of thinking and design, along with a team of more than 80 extremely well qualified and motivated co-workers, that ensures the success of Q I Press Controls," said Jansen.

Erik van Holten, the other owner and founder of Q I Press Controls, further explained that continual pursuit of the highest quality for products and services is, in his opinion, the only manner to really become and remain distinctive in the market.

He said: "A recently carried out customer survey showed that 99 per cent of the anticipated savings and quality improvement objectives have been realised after installation of the IRS register system and 100 per cent of the users would recommend Q I Press Controls to other companies." The Deloitte and Touche Technology Fast 50 is a ranking list of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the Netherlands, based on the growth in turnover in the last five years.

Technology companies with their headquarters in the Netherlands that had a minimum turnover of 50,000 Euros in 2000 and have existed for at least five years, are considered for the list.

Other conditions are that companies must be technology businesses that themselves develop and earn a substantial proportion of their turnovers with that technology and that much attention is paid to research and development.
