Q.I. Press Controls' Office Opens
QI Press Controls, the recognised European register and colour quality controls systems producer for web offset presses, opened its new office in Tokyo (Japan) on April 1.
QI Press Controls, the recognised European register and colour quality controls systems producer for web offset presses, opened its new office in Tokyo (Japan) on April 1 The company is seeking to play a significant role in the Japanese market and its new operation is being managed by Minoru Tsubota (53), who has been working in the Japanese printing industry for 26 years

Tsubota said he is very positive about the prospects for QI Press Controls Japan and added: "Not only does Japan, with its 127 million inhabitants, have a large domestic market, it is also the home of major web-offset press manufacturers such as Komori, Mitsubishi, TKS and Seiken." And Menno Jansen, one QI Press Contorls' founders, commented: "We are opening this office, our seventh worldwide, in response to the increased demand from Japanese printing companies and press suppliers." He explained: "The requirements placed on printing quality and efficiency in Japan are increasing, leading to a greater demand for press computerisation.
QI Press Controls Japan has started at the right time to fill this need.".
