Waterman will focus on accelerating adoption of the company's services within the UK magazine sector.

Quickcut said that its global media exchange services integrate workflow, management and distribution providing quality, operational and business benefits to users.

Consequently, implementation by corporate in-house marketing departments, particularly large retailers, is an expanding aspect of the company's business.

Waterman was previously UK sales director at Vio, and more recently responsible for the development, launch and distribution of the Sumitomo Group's Vector Format Zoom technology for high-resolution and secure digital photographic applications across Europe.

He also brings digital workflow services experience to Quickcut.

Reviewing opportunities offered by a several of the industry's digital workflow suppliers, Waterman said he chose to be part of Quickcut's expansion.

"This is a very competitive market but I believe Quickcut is the most innovative supplier today, standing head and shoulders above the rest.

Adoption of Quickcut is meteoric at the moment and I am glad to be joining at such as exciting time.
