Quickcut UK, the supplier of electronic advertising validation and delivery software, has appointed Michael Parmenter to the new post of operations director.

Quickcut UK, the supplier of electronic advertising validation and delivery software, has appointed Michael Parmenter to the new post of operations director Based at the company's London office, Parmenter is responsible for managing Quickcut's major digital development projects and ensuring their efficient and successful completion

Building on the company's success in the newspaper sector, he will also head Quickcut's expansion into the magazine sector, developing and implementing validation and delivery systems tailored for the needs of the UK publishing market.

Parmenter has held a number of senior roles with Australian publishers including a period as general manager of Pacific Publications and he was operations manager for Cumberland Newspapers, where he was responsible for the implementation of a Quickcut electronic advertising delivery system.

Previously, as advertising production manager for News Ltd, which publishes The Australian, The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph and The Sportsman, he merged the production departments of each newspaper into one unit with standardised workflow and was heavily involved in determining software requirements.
