Quickcut, the provider of digital production workflows, has appointed Dean Benjamin as executive vice president of its North American operations.

Quickcut, the provider of digital production workflows, has appointed Dean Benjamin as executive vice president of its North American operations.

Benjamin is responsible for all marketing, sales and customer support functions in North America, including national accounts.

He brings to his new post more than 25 years of experience in graphic communications, manufacturing automation and telephony.

Prior to joining Quickcut, he was a consultant to an advertising agency on digital advertising workflows, a web-based provider of advertising systems for advertising agencies and corporate marketing departments from 1999 to 2004 and served as director of strategic marketing for Wace USA from 1995 to 1999.

Prior to that, he founded and served as president of Pacific Images, which was involved in digital asset management products for high-end graphics providers.

From the mid 1970s to the early 1990s he held marketing, product and engineering management positions, respectively, at Shira America Corporation, Macdonald-Detweiller, and Harris Corporation.

He holds a Bachelor degree from Pepperdine University and also attended University of Southern California.
