Adstream has released version 5.4.1 of Quickprint, which is now available as an upgrade for current Quickprint 5 users.
According to Adstream, this version of Quickprint has extra features such as built-in soft proofing for colour sends, which now includes the Associated Newspaper titles 'The Daily Mail', 'The Mail on Sunday', 'Evening Standard' and 'Metro'.
There is also a plug-in for Adobe Indesign CS5 on Mac OS and Windows, as well as a plug-in for Adobe Illustrator CS3 or CS4.
Quickprint 5.4.1 also includes a Job List window where publishers can automatically deliver booking details in an automated job ticket.
From there the operator can select from Create Layout, Update Layout and Use Ticket.
One or more jobs can be dragged from the Job List window to the Quickprint Job Destination Details dialogue.
