Commercial Printer's Transformation Wins Award

A Redlin Print Limited product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team May 31, 2007

The transformation of commercial printer Redlin Print to develop facilities for litho and digital printing, storage and distribution, mailing and fulfillment, has won it a regional business award.

The Essex (UK) company has just won the award for the growing business of the year in the Essex Countywide Business Awards.

In the last three years, Redlin Print has reinvented itself to make the transition from traditional stationery printing through a programme of continued investment in technology and staff, as well as a drive for the continuous improvement of its customer service.

Established in 1978, the company had been affected by a general downturn and it was essential to change the nature of the business to thrive.

As Redlin's chief executive officer, Derek Faint, said: "We are absolutely delighted to beat off strong competition to win this award.

With the challenges of today's print industry, it was absolutely fundamental that Redlin became a bigger business so that we could meet and satisfy customer requirements well in to the future.

The Essex business award, together with being selected as a finalist in this years BPIF excellence awards in the turn-around category, show that our strategy is working.".
