Ralph C.
Rieker, managing partner, is a believer: ?The Roland 700 LTTL gives us exactly the technology and productivity we need to satisfy the demands of the market.? Rieker Druckveredelung uses water-based and UV varnishes and special effect pigments with the new ROLAND 700 LTTL.
With collecting blade technology, the screen rollers' varying dip volumes means the right amount of ink or varnish is precisely applied to the print material, achieving the desired finishing effect.
This application technique ensures glossy or matt finishes of consistently high quality, even at high press speeds ? something conventional varnishing systems with metering rollers simply can't achieve.
As finishing specialists, the many challenges facing the Rieker company involve more than just creating glossy and matt effects.
For example, special coatings that require the substantial application of varnish, such as blister, fragrance, barrier varnishes, gummings, or pigment inks for Iriodin and metallic effects, must be applied in precisely metered amounts ? and the Roland 700 LTTL does just that.
