New Coated Paper For High Speed Printing
Presto, a new coated sheet from Sappi, exclusive to the Robert Horne Group, is claimed to be suitable for high speed, trouble-free printing.
The company said that Cloud 90 draws inspiration from the environment and its mottled look is created entirely naturally during production.
Described as being like the shell of a bird's egg or the surface of a pebble, the look is of a smooth, soft texture.
Robert Horne has a new swatch to show off the range's possibilities.
Available in seven soft colours and a choice of weights the range is well represented in the swatch, with its image capabilities clearly demonstrated.
Full technical information is included too.
Cloud 90 is said to be suitable for litho, letterpress and screen printing with conventional, UV and IR inks preferred, although Robert Horne said that press open inks are also satisfactory.
The products is claimed to be suitable for wide-ranging finishing techniques, including embossing, varnishing, emulsion sealing, hot foil blocking, thermography and creasing, whilst current printing technology allowed the printer to generate a consistent image with image lift and colour as good as any coated stock.
