It is also said that fewer wash-ups and the further elimination of any IR drying, therefore reducing labour and energy costs.

Tempo Silk is now available from stock in 100gsm, 115gsm, 130gsm, 150gsm, 170gsm, 200gsm, 250gsm and 300gsm weights and most popular printing sizes.

Dave Allen, Robert Horne Group's managing director said: "Sappi's decision to appoint us as the UK's exclusive stockist of Tempo Silk reflects its confidence in our ability to market and sell this highly technical paper.

We genuinely believe this grade will provide our customers with a competitive advantage and reflects our philosophy of helping printers to reduce costs." He added: "To be able to demonstrate we have produced a simple calculation tool that covers non-paper costs such as sealant and varnish, anti-offset powder, and labour costs, for example.

The idea is to clearly show the fact that by using Tempo Silk these non-paper costs will reduce considerably and, therefore provide a saving on a job by job basis.".
