Fast copier-printers simultaneously scan both sides of an ADF form.
What are claimed to be the first 60 and 75-ppm copier-printers to simultaneously scan both sides of an original from an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) are now available in the UK from Ricoh.
The Aficio 1060/1070 are for mid or high volume users.
The machines feature a print resolution of 1200dpi and overall copy/print speeds of 60 and 75 pages per minute (ppm) respectively, and a first copy time of 3.5 seconds.
Both models also offer a number of finishing capabilities, including a booklet maker and cover insertion to further enhance production capabilities in the office.
Large volume jobs can be shared by two units using the tandem linking system, effectively doubling the overall output speed to a maximum of 150 ppm.
In addition to this, with the optional WLAN interface, the new models offer the benefits of network connectivity in a wireless environment.
