Ricoh Introduce Wide Format Machines
Ricoh has launched the FW770 and FW780 wide format copiers, capable of producing high quality 1:1 copies of virtually any format up to and including A0.
The model utilises a points system to set scores, which enable organisations to measure improvements in their performance, said Ricoh.
Ricoh has been using the EFQM Excellent Model to assess its performance since 2000 and has been working to achieve a target of improving its score by 50 points per year.
Based on the company's initial assessment that meant Ricoh would have achieved 500 points - the level at which five star excellence is officially recognised - in March 2008.
However, following an external assessment last December Ricoh was informed that it had already reached the milestone.
Eiji Kometani, managing director of Ricoh UK, commented: "Receiving the acknowledgement so far in advance of our original target is a testament to the great deal of hard work by all of our employees to continuously improve our performance.
We're committed to building on this success and will continue to work closely with our employees, customers, partners and resellers to set new targets for excellence moving forward.".
