Ricoh Inkjet Printers Pick Up Test
Awards
Ricoh printers have been included in a list of spring and summer 2007 'pick awards', following testing over two months by Buyers Laboratory (BLI).

BLI commended the products for productivity and output quality, as well for offering higher than average toner yields, decreasing downtime and offering low cost per page.
BLI also noted that the two printers are easy to set up and manage on the network.
The Aficio MP 161SPF, an all-in-one mono printing system won an award in the monochrome segment one multi-functional product (MFP) category.
During BLI's analysis, it proved to be reliable over the course of its durability test and BLI also found the Aficio MP 161SPF to be user-friendly, highlighting the logically placed control panel keys and functions.
The BLI 'pick of the year' awards are presented bi-annually to the products that perform best in their respective categories throughout BLI's testing.
All nominated devices are evaluated in critical performance areas, including reliability, image quality, productivity, print drivers, feedback to workstations, administrative utilities, ease of use, network setup, toner yield and cost of ownership.
