Drupa 08 Sees new Ricoh Colour Digital
Printer
On the back of its prediction that the printing market will grow to EUR12.8 billion by 2013, Ricoh will use the Drupa 2008 exhibition to launch its Pro C900 colour digital printer.
The company will also use the show to introduce it C900s multi-function printing system The Pro C900 and C900s are claimed to provide heavy production capacity as speeds up to 90 pages per minute (ppm) in full-colour, even when printing in heavy stock

Ricoh said that over the last four years it has incorporated Hitachi Printing Solutions, the European operation of Danka-Infotec and the joint venture with IBM Infoprint Solutions.
It added that it is now offering a product portfolio that integrates within the digital print workflow, has a flexible range of software and a worldwide service and support network.
The company has also established a worldwide printing business unit that will focus on serving the market needs, providing heavy duty systems and a range of finishing options.
Ricoh explained that its expansion in to production printing is in addition to its commitment to its established core business within the office market where it provides a range of printers, copiers, scanners and multi-function devices.
