The new four-colour Plug and Print flexo presses from Rotoconverflex have been launched.

The new four-colour Plug and Print flexo presses from Milan's Rotoconverflex have bee launched Available in two versions they are stack type presses built with a central bull gear that drives all decks to ensure equal substrate tension between decks

The impression cylinder is to be fabricated by a leading European manufacturer.

It is chrome-plated, highly polished and dynamically balanced to print at up to 820 fpm, claim the company.

Rotoconverflex also said presses will be delivered ready to print and only needing levelling and electrical or gas and air connections.

Engineers aren't needed.

The presses, said to be ideal for short runs, are available in working widths of 500mm, 650mm, 800mm, 1000mm and 1200 mm (19.5", 25.5", 31.5", 39.5" and 47").

They have a low profile design with a total height of 104", making them suitable for confined spaces.

The company stated that Plug and Prints are capable of make-readies and changeovers.

Amongst a range of features, standard equipment includes a reverse angle chambered doctor blade inking system with Teflon coated cavities, customised ceramic laser engraved anilox rollers and a set of four plate cylinders.

Hydraulic motors for the quick advance and reverse of the printing decks are also provided.
