RR Donnelley provides outsourcing services

RR Donnelley's Global Document Solutions (GDS) has launched Enterprise Communications Management (Ecom) to provide a range of outbound and inbound outsourcing services.

The services are designed to optimise the preparation, production, delivery and processing of customer communications, including documents, email, web and SMS.

Ecom is claimed to manage all aspects of the customer communication lifecycle through an integrated managed service.

Mike Gordon, managing director at GDS (UK and Ireland) said: 'Ecom allows organisations to more effectively handle their entire customer communications management lifecycle.

'The component-based nature of the solution enables users to select from a broad portfolio of services to meet their exact needs.

'We also provide consulting services to ensure that our solutions are implemented with a full understanding of client requirements and goals.' The outbound communication services that GDS offers via Ecom include marketing services management, creative and presentation services, print management, office communications management and transactional printing.

The inbound services offered include back-office processing (application, correspondence and payment processing) and content management (indexing, data processing and analysis, plus document archiving and retrieval).
