The fruits of Ipex 2006 continue to be picked by Russell-Webb, the Hertfordshire (UK) manufacturer of anti-set-off spray powder, water based coatings and UV curable varnishes.

Martyn Elmy, director of sales and marketing, explained: "The international mix of visitors to the show has certainly helped us to find and further develop our export business this year.

Since Ipex we have signed good orders with new partners in Brazil, Germany, Greece, Malta, Kuwait, Singapore and South Africa." Russell-Webb's anti-set-off spray powder is made from certified GM-free natural food grade vegetable starches.

Leading the export drive has been Russell-Webb's S88 powder, which has been tested by the independent BG foundation in Germany and certified by it to have only three per cent of particles under 10microns.

Elmy commented: "It is really only sub-5u that we consider to be dust, so these results are particularly pleasing, as this translates to significantly less time cleaning the press for printer." Russell-Webb has also delivered a significant amount of powder to Columbia and Martyn Elmy went on to say: "That order certainly brought a smile to my face but to clinch significant business from Kazakhstan was particularly pleasing." Russell-Webb managing director, Tim Webb, commented: "We are on course for highest ever sales, we are proud to export over 75 per cent of our production through a network of distributors and dealers in more than 50 countries and we aim to continue this growth in spite of the significant raw material price increases in the pipeline.".
